Mirjam Simpson-Logonder grew up in Slovenia. After finishing her studies at the University of Ljubljana, she moved to Budapest to persue a career that allowed her to develop her creative side. This translated into a variety of photographic commisions that ranged from supporting European Commission's CIVITAS Initiative and its annual Forum Conferences to capturing Transgender Europe at their third council. In 2010 she was shortlisted for the European Women's Lobby photographic competition 'Visions of 21st Centurty Feminism'.
